Grand Final
There
are four teams playing in the Grand Final this Saturday, please come and
support these teams:
Year
9 Green Team playing at 1pm on Court 14
Year
10 Purple Team at 1pm on Court 34
Year
11/12 Lilac team at 1pm on Court 26
Open
Team 1 at 4pm on Court 14
Newman Sienna netball Club had 12 teams in the Semi
finals. We had 5 Teams in the
Preliminary Finals on Saturday and now
we have 4 teams in the Grand final on
Saturday 11 September. Congratulations to all teams on this outstanding results
and good luck. Please come along and support these teams on Saturday
The Coaches and
Managers have been sent information on the finals.

to have some photo’s of your team in action. And also photo's from the Quiz
night or of your team during this Season, The Committee would love a copy,

Perpetual
Trophy
This year is the
beginning of awarding someone outstanding in Newman Sienna Netball Club a
Perpetual Trophy.
Nominations are
now open
If there is
anyone that you know of that has been outstanding for the Club for example a
Player who always tries hard and a good leader, an outstanding Coach or Manager, A
Committee member or even a Parent. Send in your nomination to info@newmansiennanetballclub.com.au please include
the Persons name and a small paragraph as to why you think they should be
awarded.
AGM/AWARDS NIGHT
The AGM/ AWARDS night
is on Saturday 18th September, 6pm start. The Raffle will also be drawn on this night.
Parents
Please attend the
Awards night to show your support to the team your daughter played in and
also the Club. The Bar will be open
and we hope you stay back after the presentations to socialise.
Trophies
This year there will be
two trophies presented per team, one for best Player which the team has voted
on throughout the season and the other Trophy a a Coaches award, this is for
the Player who is not necessary the best player but always give it their best
during the game and at training.
Have you returned your Raffle Books in yet?
Money and tickets are
to be placed in the locked box, which is in Student Administration. Raffle books need to be returned by
Wednesday 15 September and the Raffle will be drawn at the AGM/Awards night
on Saturday 18 September. Please email
us info@newmansiennanetballclub.com.au if you would like
another book to sell.
Coaches and Managers Meeting
Thank you to all the
Coaches and Managers that attended our Thank you evening. It was great to see
so many. The Committee would like to thank all the Coaches and Managers for
all their time and effort that they put into their team.
Spring Netball
Application forms for
Spring Netball are now available and can be downloaded from www.perthnetball.com.au
Committee needs new Members
The current committee
comprises mainly of Year 11 parents.
Most of us have been on
the Committee for 3 to 4 years.
We are in need of new
members with children in Years 7, 8, 9 and 10.
You don’t need to know
about netball rules to be on the Committee.
Please get in touch if
you would like to join or just come to one of our meeting to see what it’s
like.
